CandyBar alternatives for cafés and restaurants (2026)

Last reviewed 2026-10-07 · Hungry Bear Internet Pte. Ltd.

Updated October 2026 — CandyBar is a simple, honest digital stamp card: US$45 a month, 500 SMS included, no contract. It enrols the person who pays, on a tablet at the counter, and sends SMS. If you want every guest at the table enrolled, win-back on WhatsApp and a free plan, these are the alternatives Singapore and Malaysian operators shortlist.

What CandyBar does better than PEKO

    • It is simpler. If all you want is a punch card and you will never run a campaign, CandyBar's single screen is hard to beat.
    • It also includes SMS in the price, which matters if your guests don't use WhatsApp.

    Other alternatives

    • Eber: POS-integrated, from US$69 a month billed annually. Pick it if you have a marketing team and want deep configuration across several stores.
    • Qashier Treats: Card-linked, needs Qashier POS. Pick it if you already run Qashier and want earn tied to the payer's card.
    • StoreHub Loyalty: Bundled with a StoreHub POS contract. Pick it if you are on StoreHub POS and want loyalty in the same screen.

    FAQ

    Does CandyBar work in Malaysia?
CandyBar prices in US dollars and its public pricing page does not limit it to one country. Before signing, confirm with CandyBar that SMS delivery and support cover Malaysian numbers. PEKO prices in RM and runs win-back on WhatsApp.
    Is CandyBar PDPA-compliant?
CandyBar's public pricing page does not address Singapore's or Malaysia's PDPA, so ask CandyBar for its data-processing terms in writing. On PEKO, guests opt in on their own phone and data is handled under the PDPA of Singapore (2012) or Malaysia (2010).
Can I import my CandyBar customers into PEKO?
Yes. Export them from CandyBar (Customers → Export CSV) and import the file in PEKO under Dashboard > Members > Import. Punch counts map to PEKO stamps, so guests keep their progress.
    Does receipt-scan loyalty miss transactions?
Receipt Scan records every sale a guest chooses to claim, whatever the payment method, including cash and e-wallets that payment-linked loyalty misses. Guests are prompted by the QR on the receipt and the table, Group Check-In enrols everyone at the table, and the AI Agent can send a reminder to members who stop claiming. The PEKO ecosystem

PEKO and LOOP are two products from the same company. PEKO is the AI retention layer and runs alongside the POS you already use. LOOP is the AI-native POS that covers operations: recipe-level inventory, staff shifts, table plans and the kitchen display. Each works on its own, and run together they share one dataset, so nothing has to be entered twice. See PEKO + LOOP in one ecosystem
